This document contains the most commonly asked questions of the NetWare
Management Systems program.

Q.What causes the error message, in NetWare Management Systems, "NETWARE.DLL
file not found"?

A.The most common reason for the error occurs when the user does not have the
network ODI drivers loaded prior to install.  The user should verify that
they have the correct version of these drivers as well.  Finally, the user
should ensure that Windows is setup for networking (NetWare Shell 3.26 or
later).

Q.Is there a third-party resource guide for NetWare Management Systems?

A.Yes.  The guide is located on NetWire in the file RESRCE.ZIP.  The guide
provides a list of third-party products designed to work with NetWare
Management Systems or Novell's MultiProtocol Router.  The guide also includes
a brief definition of commonly used terms.

Q.How do you issue the SET command within MIB Browser (NetWare Management
Systems).

A.Highlight the Attribute value for the variable you want to change.  A
blinking box will appear, hit the ENTER key, change the value in the pop up
box and select OK.  Then click on the finger icon to issue the SET request to
update the SNMP agent.

Q.What causes the "undefined symbol" error messages when rebooting the server
after the NetWare Management Systems Agents have been installed?

A.The most common reason is that the SNMP NLM has not been updated to version
2.0x.y
